Summary:
7/26/2012--Introduced.American Investment and Job Creation Act of 2012 - Amends the Immigration and Nationality Actto provide an (employment-based) immigrant visa for an alien entrepreneur who has engaged in a new commercial enterprise in the United States that has benefitted the U.S. economy and: (1) has, during the period beginning four years prior to the filing of a preference classification petition for such alien, created full-time employment for at least five U.S. workers, or in the case of an enterprise in a Distressed Area Development Zone, for at least three U.S. workers; and (2) the enterprise has received enough investment or revenue during this period to support such employment creation requirements.
