Summary:
8/2/2012--Introduced.Fair Trade in Seafood Act - Declares that it shall be a principal objective of the United States in negotiations for a trade agreement to: (1) eliminate or reduce fisheries subsidies provided by foreign countries that unfairly distort markets to the detriment of U.S. commercial fishing interests and perpetuate unsustainable fishing practices, and (2) ensure that any commitments with respect to such subsidies are enforceable under appropriate trade laws.
