9/11/2013--Introduced. Authorizes the President to use the U.S. Armed Forces with respect to Syria only if the President makes available to Congress the President's determination, not later than 14 days after enactment of a joint resolution specifically authorizing use of the U.S. Armed Forces, that the Assad regime has not agreed to: (1) surrender its chemical weapons stockpiles to the international community to be dismantled as part of a verifiable, enforceable agreement; and (2) become a signatory to the 1993 Convention on the Prohibition of the Development, Production, Stockpiling and Use of Chemical Weapons and on their Destruction.
